Terminal 1 Renovation

The AirMall located at CAI’s Terminal 1 and linked with a skywalk to Hall 3 is one of the better places to pass time upon early arrival. The Mall offers opportunities to grab a bite to eat, browse gadgets or simply sip a good cup of Coffee at on of the Mall's Cafés. Terminal 1 which accommodates about 6.5 million passengers per annum, has since its construction in 1963 been continuously expanded and modernized. Now the façade of the terminal is being upgraded. The cladding which includes the landside facades of the terminal, the water tower and CAC's administration buildings is only the first phases of a series of works to be done to Terminal 1. A Study on reorganizing the departure and arrival Halls is ongoing as well as the feasibility study to include a number of contact stands to improve the service and comfort levels to the passengers.
